Michael Warech, Ph.D.
Dr. Michael Warech has 25 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing data-driven human capital solutions that demonstrably impact an organization’s bottom line.  He has managed a variety of projects for numerous Fortune 500 companies, including Prudential Financial, Pfizer Inc, Glaxo-Wellcome, Novartis, CitiGroup, Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan Chase, SunTrust Bank, AT&T, PECO Energy, Avaya, Rockwell Collins, PSE&G, Readers Digest, SYSCO, and the World Bank Group. His consulting work has focused on HR transformation, competency-based human resource system applications (e.g., selection, performance management, succession planning and career development systems), scorecard and survey design and analysis, employment branding, organization development and change management.
Michael has served as Practice Director of Organizational Effectiveness at Sapien. He also served as Watson Wyatt’s Organization Effectiveness Practice Leader and was responsible for designing and managing Watson Wyatt’s groundbreaking Human Capital Index® (HCI) research that resulted in the book The Human Capital Edge.  Prior to that, Michael was a Principal of WLH Consulting, Inc. and consulted with Organizational Strategies, Inc. and Assessment Alternatives, Inc., both located in the New York metropolitan area.
Michael has published book chapters and papers in leading peer review journals and has presented his work in the areas of HR transformation, metrics, talent management, and organizational measurement at national and global conferences including the Academy of Management, the Society for Industrial Organizational Psychology, the Organizational Development Network, the International Quality and Productivity Center, the National Foreign Trade Council, and the HR Forum. Dr. Warech is sought out for his expert opinions on issues in the workplace and has been quoted in newspapers, magazines, and websites including the Washington Post, The Miami Herald, The Chicago Tribune, The Baltimore-Sun Times, USA Today, Crain’s, Workforce Management magazine, HR Executive magazine, and CBS Marketwatch.
Michael completed his undergraduate work at Emory University and received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Applied Psychology from Stevens Institute of Technology.
