A global finance executive for the past 20+ years, Christie most recently resided in London, England where she held the position of SVP, CFO for a $2bn, 5,500 person technology and travel services division of Travelport Ltd. In her role as CFO, Christie was responsible for operations throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East overseeing all aspects of financial operations, planning and execution of annual budgets and strategic plans, as well as the continued integration of recently acquired businesses.
Prior to her international move, Christie was responsible for Enterprise Financial Planning and Analysis for Travelport, leveraging her functional financial expertise against new business acquisitions and integration, and global outsourcing of key commercial and finance operations. During her tenure with Travelport, which was previously a division of Cendant Corporation, she contributed in a series of finance and operational roles including accounting, planning and the development and launch of six sigma programs and related balance scorecard initiatives, focused on linking business and people strategies.

Throughout her career Christie has spent considerable time in the area of mergers and acquisitions, integration, and redesigning work and processes to streamline and enhance company operations and profitability. She specializes in commercial and operational activities that leverage her financial expertise to drive cost containment while optimizing process and people efficiencies. She has traveled the world to learn and understand the cultural aspects of business and its intellectual capital, while managing a globally diverse team of professionals.

Prior to joining Cendant, Christie served as Director of Finance for a large law firm and in the audit practices of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen for a combined 10 years of public accounting experience. She was heavily focused on mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and public offerings. Christie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Montclair State University. She is a member of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Workforce Development Board.
